Privacy Notice
1. Who we are
Auctoritas Capital Limited ("Auctoritas", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17451048, with its registered office at 13 Church Place, Mitcham, London, CR4 3HY, United Kingdom. We provide asset management support, reporting and operational consulting services to institutional clients.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in this notice at contact@auctoritascapital.com or by post to our registered office.
2. The personal data we collect
This website is informational. It has no user accounts, no contact forms and no analytics or advertising trackers. The personal data we process is limited to:
| Category | Examples | How we obtain it |
|---|---|---|
| Correspondence data | Your name, email address, organisation, role and the content of your message | When you email us or we correspond with you |
| Business contact data | Name, work contact details, role and organisation of client and prospect representatives | From you, your organisation, or publicly available professional sources |
| Technical server logs | IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps | Collected automatically by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely |
3. Why we process it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to enquiries and correspond with you — legitimate interests (running our business and answering the people who write to us).
- To provide our services and manage client relationships — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
- Business development with prospective institutional clients — legitimate interests (marketing our services to organisations likely to be interested in them). You can object at any time.
- To operate the website securely — legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and service integrity).
- To comply with legal obligations — including company, tax and accounting law, and, where applicable, anti-money-laundering checks.
4. Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking technologies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers; this request includes your IP address. No other third-party resources are loaded. If we introduce cookies or analytics in the future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
5. Who we share personal data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — such as website hosting, email and IT providers — under contracts that restrict their use of the data;
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers) where necessary;
- Authorities, regulators or courts where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, hosting and email providers) may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under the UK GDPR, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Correspondence and enquiries: up to 2 years after our last exchange, unless it leads to a client relationship;
- Client records: for the duration of the relationship and up to 6 years afterwards, in line with limitation periods and tax and accounting law;
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for short periods for security purposes.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@auctoritascapital.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection: ico.org.uk, or by phone on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always be available on this page.
